When Everything Fell Apart

At the beginning of 2024, my life felt like it was falling apart. My sister lost her job, my business wasn’t doing well, and everything felt uncertain. Each day was tough, and I didn’t know what to do next.

Then, during a church meeting, Pastor Nike shared Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” That verse gave me hope, and I decided to trust God completely.

Choosing to Serve Despite the Struggle

Even in the middle of my challenges, I made a choice to focus on serving God. I started going out to share the gospel, even though I didn’t have all the answers for my own life. Around the same time, my younger sister, who led our home cell group, felt led to join another church. With no leader in place, the group was at risk of ending, and I didn’t want that to happen.

Despite my busy ministry and praise team schedule, I took over the group with faith. On the very first Sunday I led, 17 people showed up—a sign that God was already working.

Breakthrough and Restoration

Week after week, I kept serving and trusting God to take care of everything else. Before long, things started changing. My sister got a good job, my other sister returned to school, and my business, which I thought was beyond saving, started growing again. Step by step, God turned things around.

Looking back, I now see that seeking God first was the best decision I could have made. He took my struggles and turned them into a testimony.
