“By faith we understand that the universe was created by God’s command, so that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” — Hebrews 11:3 (NLT)

Faith moves spiritual reality into physical reality.

We saw this truth clearly in David’s fight against Goliath. David didn’t act on what he saw; he acted on what God said. That’s the essence of faith.

Faith is acting as if it is so when it seems not to be so, for it to be so, because it is so.

In other words, faith trusts God so completely that your decisions and actions align with who He is and what He says, even before the evidence appears.

There is creative power in God’s word. When He speaks, He calls things that don’t yet exist into being (Romans 4:13, 17-18).

Once God says it, that word becomes your truth. Living from that truth activates His grace and releases ability beyond your natural capacity.

Abraham refused to fixate on what he couldn’t do. Instead, he fixed his attention on what God said He would do. This matters because how you feel is often a function of what you’re focused on.

So ask yourself: what is distracting you from God’s word right now? Is it a threat, a limitation, or a fear? Whatever it is, shift your gaze. Don’t look at what’s threatening you, look to Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

This season calls you to remember every promise God has spoken over your life. He has called you to something specific, and with Him, nothing is impossible.

Faith isn’t passive hope. It’s active trust that partners with God’s word to create the future He already sees for you. Step into it today.
