It all started on a Sunday morning in October 2023.

I walked into Daystar for the very first time and was greeted by the Sparkles team. It wasn’t anything overly dramatic: just a warm hello, a smile, a simple “Welcome to church.” But for some reason, it hit different. I felt noticed. I felt seen. And just like that, something in me clicked.

The service that day was powerful. The message spoke to me deeply, but what truly stayed with me was the excellence I saw across every part of the church. From the welcome to the worship to the organization, it was all so intentional. I remember saying to myself, This is going to be my church.

I kept showing up, week after week, counting down to Sundays. Then I heard the announcement about the Membership Class. Without hesitation, I made it part of my goals and signed up.

And I’m so glad I did.

The Membership Class wasn’t just about joining a church; it was school. Structured, intentional, and full of impact. Every week, the sessions started right on time and ended on time, something I deeply appreciated. But beyond the structure, the teachings were rich in life application and rooted in personal experience.

One of the biggest shifts for me was how it changed my perspective on life. It didn’t just feed my faith: it reshaped my belief system. I learned how to relate better with people, how to lead, and how to grow with purpose.

The leadership and the system were something else. Week after week, I could see the structure building in me, preparing me for more.

I’m not the same person I was when I walked in that first Sunday.
