Doing Business. We’ve been taught that wealth is locked in a paycheck. That the pathway to abundance is found in a promotion or a job title.

But what if God is calling us to rethink wealth completely? What if doing business is one of the most spiritual, impactful things you could do with your life?

In II Kings 4:7, the widow ran out of options until she was told to “go and sell.” Her miracle wasn’t in the oil itself, but in doing business with it. Like her, many of us already have something.

We are not as poor as we think. God has placed talents, skills, and opportunities right within our reach. The question is: are we willing to unleash them?

God is raising a bold generation of entrepreneurs, men and women who are doing business not just to make profit, but to meet needs and unlock miracles. The moment you stop meeting needs, the flow stops. But when you serve others with your gift, heaven backs you up.

Not everyone needs to start a business, but everyone must learn how to do business. Entrepreneurial skills are now non-negotiable. Whether you run your own company or serve within an organization, these skills elevate you. You become an “intrapreneur,” rising to the top because you understand value creation.

Our current idea of work is outdated, it was designed for the Industrial Age. But in today’s economy, selling something can look like freelancing, contracting, being a vendor, or managing a digital store. The wealth is out there, but you need the right mindset to tap into it.

And why should you do business? Because it’s one of the fastest ways to break free from poverty. When you sell something, you become the person money flows to. As your business grows, you gain time freedom, acquire assets, and create lasting wealth.

God is not in the business of counterfeits. You are already loaded with spiritual wealth, it is time to unlock it through wisdom, skill, and doing business.

Time is your most valuable resource. Don’t waste it chasing validation from people who don’t see what God is doing in you. The world is waiting. Step out. Start building.

It’s time to start doing business and rethink wealth God’s way.
