I recently had a conversation with a friend. Then he shared a pretty interesting story with me , in his words, he described it as “his cousin’s financial healing”. For the purpose of illustration, I’m going to call him Andy and his cousin, Angie.
A few years ago, he visited Angie, whom he hadn’t seen in a decade. He lived somewhere on Lagos mainland, and she lived on Lagos Island, not just any Island, but a private Island :). When he arrived with his family, he found her cooking. After they exchanged pleasantries and were led into the living lounge by the domestic staff, he chatted with her. Here’s how that conversation went:
Andy: Hey girl, why are you cooking? Why not get your cook to prepare the meal or order something? Isn’t this stressful? (You should’ve seen what she was preparing, it was a lot! Though very delicious, thinking about the process still gives me the chills)
Angie: No worries. We haven’t seen each other in a long time and I’m happy to prepare your meal.
Andy: Thanks, cuz. But seriously you have to share your secret with me. O girl, you get money.
Angie: Lol. You’re funny. You were the one who introduced me to the person who gave me financial healing. This meal is not only because we haven’t seen each other in a long time, but to also say thank you.
Andy: Stop teasing now! Me, how?
Angie: When you gave me the book, Ideas rule the world.
Andy: Interesting!
Angie: After reading the book, I decided to put into practice what was written and continued listening to Pastor Sam. I now attend service at the satellite centre in Lekki. That book was my financial healing.
The theme at Daystar this month is “Financial increase”. Like Angie who acted on the word and her financial situation was turned around, when you act on the teachings this month, your increase will come speedily, in Jesus’ name.
