To lead like a star is to embrace God’s light, remain steadfast in faith, and illuminate the path for others. It is a call to trust God’s divine timing, even when the journey seems unclear or daunting.
In our world today, we often focus on chasing the next milestone. Yet, moments of reflection are essential—they remind us of God’s unshakeable faithfulness. As Psalm 103:1-3 exhorts, “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.” Even in seasons of hardship, gratitude reorients our hearts, helping us see God’s fingerprints in every chapter of our lives.
The story of Habakkuk tells a profound story of trust and perseverance. In Habakkuk 1:2-17, the prophet confronts God with questions about justice and the seeming silence during turbulent times. Yet God’s response in Habakkuk 2:1-3 provides a timeless reassurance: His promises are certain, unfolding perfectly in their appointed time. This powerful truth teaches us to rest in God’s sovereignty, even when life feels unsteady.
As we celebrate nearly three decades of God’s grace, we are reminded of the importance of bold, faith-filled leadership. What began with 30 people has blossomed into a vibrant, thriving community. Pastor Sam Adeyemi’s courageous response to God’s call inspires us all to shine boldly and lead with conviction.
Leading like a star means acknowledging how far God has brought us while looking ahead with steadfast faith. It means trusting that He who began a good work will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6).
