Chaos is no longer a distant concept, it is here, loud and unashamed. The darkness in our world seems to intensify by the day, and if we are not careful, it can overwhelm our hearts, shape our reactions, and weaken our resolve. But this is exactly where the role model rises.
From the very first chapter of Scripture, we see a powerful pattern for leadership in chaotic times. “In the beginning… darkness covered the deep.” Yet God did not panic. He did not retreat. He spoke light into the confusion. And light began the transformation. When chaos shows up, leaders show up too.
When life feels confusing, noisy, or overwhelming, the best response is to return to the beginning, your foundation, your source, your identity.
Just as light exposed the darkness in Genesis 1, your clarity, conviction, and courage will expose solutions where others only see problems. This is what sets the role model apart.
It’s tempting to mirror the negativity around us, but true leadership demands higher ground. Being light isn’t just about “shining”, it is about bringing truth, warmth, direction, and hope. Darkness always has an agenda; it never waits for permission. So why should you? The world follows the role model who stands with discernment, compassion, and spiritual sensitivity.
When darkness intensifies, light must intensify too.
Speak solutions. Refuse to be part of the problem. Pay attention to what God is whispering in your spirit, your intuition is not random; it is guidance.
Leaders are watched, whether they speak or stay silent. In silence, you may be giving people permission. So speak wisely. Act boldly. Listen deeply. Isaiah 30:21 reminds us that God will direct us, but courage is required to obey.
In times of crisis, people bleed emotionally and spiritually. Matthew 24 reminds us that love can grow cold, but the role model protects theirs. Care for the wounded. Encourage the discouraged. Support the shaken. Leadership is not just strategy, it is compassion in motion.
When the world becomes loud, return to the Word. Meditate. Re-anchor. Refresh. The King’s business requires urgency, so keep moving with God. Too much news may cloud the mind, but God’s Word clears it.
