Senior Pastor, Daystar Christian Centre Lagos, Pastor Sam Adeyemi has
said the value of any Church is measured by its impacts on the society
where it exists not the built cathedrals. Sam Adeyemi stated this over the
weekend when the church gave out school materials to various pupils and
students across the state as they resume for the new academic session.

The church leader said “We as a church believe and practice the teaching
of Christ on being responsible to the society where we live. We noticed the

In a chat with journalists during the event, Pastor Adeyemi noted though
the government is trying its best, but urged other church leaders to support
governments at all levels in solving the societal issues particularly the

our tomorrow as a Nation” He concluded.

The church benevolence unit head, Akinwande Ademosu said “the passion
behind the programme annually is tied to the commitment of the church to
raise the next generation of leaders. We are committed to see
transformation in the true sense of it not just in words. This massive
expense is solely powered by the church without any agency’s support.
However, we are opened going forward to such so we can touch more lives
in the society. It is about the people not the church”.
