Preserving Relationships

Imagine a world where broken things stay broken. Where cars stop running and are abandoned because no one repairs them. Our cities would turn into junkyards, and movement would be nearly impossible. The same is true for life without restored relationships. Without reconciliation, love, and forgiveness, our hearts become stuck, unable to move forward into God’s best.

Relationships are the true currency of life. Every breakthrough, every opportunity, every divine connection flows through a relationship.

Joseph understood this. Betrayed, sold into slavery, and falsely imprisoned, he had every reason to hold onto bitterness. Yet, when he finally saw his brothers again, he chose forgiveness.

He told them,

“It was not you who sent me here, but God.”

What if he had allowed anger to ruin that relationship? He would have missed his destiny.Bitterness is a trap. Hebrews 12:15 calls it a “poisonous root” that corrupts. It distorts vision and blocks blessings.

Don’t let pride keep you from experiencing the love, joy, and purpose that God has designed for you.

Many people are stuck today, not because of the devil, but because they refuse to release offense. But what if the relationship you are avoiding is the key to your next level?

Jesus showed us the way. As He hung on the cross, He said,

“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

If Christ could forgive His executioners, what excuse do we have?

Relationships may not always be easy, but to a large extend they determine how far we go in life. God accelerates those who choose love over resentment.

Joseph’s restoration led to his promotion. Stephen’s prayer led to Saul’s transformation. Forgiveness releases power.

Let go of the grudge. Choose peace over pride. Decide today to forgive, to restore, and to protect the relationships God has placed in your life. The blessing is in the relationship!
