As nations celebrate milestones like Independence Day, it is easy to focus on the challenges, setbacks, and uncertainties that surround us. News cycles often amplify crisis, and social media places negative stories at our fingertips every moment of the day. Yet, in the middle of chaos, God asks the same question He asked the prophet Jeremiah:
“What do you see?” (Jeremiah 1:11)
The answer to that question can shape not only our future, but the future of our families, communities, and nation.
In Ezekiel 36:33–36, God paints a powerful picture of restoration. He speaks of ruined cities being rebuilt, empty fields becoming fruitful again, and wastelands transformed into something as beautiful as the Garden of Eden.
This reminds us that God is in the business of rebuilding lives, families, businesses, communities, and nations. No matter how difficult the present may appear, God’s plans are never limited by current circumstances.
Scripture teaches that as we behold God’s glory, we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). What we continually look at influences what we become.
Your life is bigger than you, and success alone is not the ultimate goal.
Your gifts, talents, and opportunities are meant to make a difference in the lives of others. P
A better future is not built only through systems or policies—it begins with people whose hearts and minds have been transformed.
A new nation requires new people: people of vision, faith, integrity, and hope. People who can see possibilities where others see limitations.
No matter what challenges surround us, we can choose to see differently. We can choose to see rebuilding instead of ruins, opportunity instead of obstacles, and hope instead of despair.
The question remains:
What do you see?
Choose to see a glorious future, for yourself, your family, your community, and your nation. Because where God is present, restoration is always possible.
