Stories Change People, Tell It.

As we approach our 30th anniversary, one theme rings louder than celebration itself: Tell your Jesus story. In The Inspired Storyteller sermon delivered on Sunday, October 27, 2025, Pastor Sam Adeyemi reminded the global Daystar family that Christianity was never designed to be a quiet, private conviction, it is a witness movement.

“You will be my witnesses… telling people about Me everywhere.”  Acts 1:8

A witness does not explain theology, a witness simply says what they saw, heard, and experienced. Every time a believer shares their Jesus story, Pastor Sam taught, the Holy Spirit goes to work, confirming the story with transformation, conviction, and change in the life of the listener.

Stories do what logic cannot. Stories enter the heart before they enter the mind. Stories make the invisible God believable.

For 30 years, God has used Daystar as a training ground, refining people by Word and Spirit, turning ordinary men and women into role models. Each changed life is a piece of this 30-year mosaic, and the mosaic is incomplete without your voice.

Your story may be quiet or dramatic, both are valid. You may have come here broken, confused, struggling, or spiritually cold, and now you are changed. That change is not personal property, it is ministry.

Pastor Sam provided a simple, accessible framework:

  1. Who were you before? What was life like before Christ or before encountering Daystar?
  2. What happened? What message, moment, decision or encounter turned the direction?
  3. Who are you now? What is different in your values, habits, mindset, relationships or destiny?

That’s it. Short, simple, human, powerful.

This anniversary is not a parade of activities, it is a harvest of stories that feed faith. Each recorded story becomes an instrument for evangelism, healing and hope, especially for those who are on the edge of giving up.

Your voice is a tool in God’s hand. Your journey is someone’s confirmation. Your testimony is someone’s turning point.

Don’t keep what God has done in silence. Tell it.
