The Covenant of Health

Pastor Boye Oloyede

Text: Exodus 15:25 (NLT)

We have a covenant relationship with God. We have to approach that connection with God from a place of understanding. Our relationship with God is grounded in a covenant. The covenant of God does not have anything to do with the way we feel.

Because of the covenant relationship we have with God, God desires to see that we enjoy sound health. God established this relationship with us, Jesus came to rectify this relationship. Take courage, your father sealed His covenant with you with His word. No matter what you feel in your body, He is going to stand on His word which doesn’t fail.

If sound health belongs to God, it belongs to you. The assurance God gave Abraham in Gen 17:7 shows how his descendant enjoyed God’s covenant. The devil does not want you to remember that amid your pain, there is a promise. What belongs to God, belongs to you.

Every sickness has a name, the same goes for every disease. God’s name is above every other name. You are connected to the covenant by the virtue of what God did on the cross. God’s covenant will not break from His end, He made this known in Psalm 89:34 (NLT).

Break free from condemnation and fear. God does not punish with sickness. You must keep speaking the word until your reality matches what the word says. When you are squeezed, what comes out of your mouth is the real you. As you go this week, anywhere you find yourself speak life. Speak life into every and any situation.
