Every believer wants a breakthrough.
But you cannot manifest what God has for you without surrendering to the Game Changer, the Holy Spirit. This is Part 3 of our June series on how total surrender changes how you see, speak, and live.
In Acts 2:12-17, onlookers thought the disciples were drunk. In reality, they were filled with the Spirit, and that fullness changed what they said and saw. Isaiah 32:13-15 (NLT) shows the same pattern: barren land transformed the moment the Spirit is poured out.
When you are under His influence, you declare what God is showing you. You see possibilities where others see dead ends. Just as God spoke creation into existence in Genesis 1:1, you begin to speak life into your situation. That’s why the Holy Spirit is the Game Changer, He shifts your vision, your words, and your outcomes.
Walking with the Game Changer brings peace. He fights your battles so you can rest anywhere, no matter the situation (Ephesians 5:18). You build this intimacy through worship and the Word.
However, you cannot let Him oversee only parts of your life. Partial control produces partial results. Although you cannot see Him, He is as real as the chair you’re sitting on. Letting go isn’t always logical, but it’s necessary.
Matthew 3:16-17 shows Christ’s baptism, a perfect picture of surrender. As you surrender, the Spirit manifests Christ’s identity through you (Galatians 2:20; Romans 6:3-5). Paul is proof: a persecutor transformed into a preacher by yielding.
Stop being too calculative; you cannot design your life alone. Surrender can be exciting or hard, going to the cross was hard for Jesus, but God didn’t abandon Him. The Spirit raised Him from the dead.
That same Spirit is available today. He is still the Game Changer, ready to lead and transform you.
Surrender your life to Christ, and let Him lead you.
