Blessed To Be A Blessing. Imagine that God gave you the anointing that Jesus had. Imagine you had the anointing to heal all oppressed by the Devil.
Luke 7:11-17 Jesus raised a child from the dead, and in Matthew 14 we see Him feeding a multitude of people. Jesus used His anointing to help those who were weak, the hungry and those who could not help themselves. And as He did, He also taught us to do.
Again he said, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” (John 20:21NLT)
Jesus tells us that we are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. Salt is never for itself, and light doesn’t shine for itself. When Jesus gave His disciples the Great Commission, it was to go into the world and do good, but they understood that they were anointed to do so. You are blessed as well because you have received the Holy Spirit. When we do good to others, we continue the ministry that Jesus gave us.
When God blesses you, it is not only for you receiving the blessing; it is also for those who are connected to you. It is a waste to focus all that God has given you on just you.
Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. (Psalm 1:1 NLT)
