Did You Get Yours? In a world often troubled by division and strife, the power of kindness shines as a beacon of hope. Inspired by the ageless wisdom of the Golden Rule, as spoken in Matthew 7:12
“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you,”
I witnessed firsthand how a simple act of kindness can transform lives.
Recently, I encountered a stranger who seemed burdened by the weight of the world. He shared his struggles and fears with a heavy heart, longing for someone to listen and understand. Moved by compassion, I chose to embrace the Golden Rule, treating him with the empathy and support I would hope for in my own moments of vulnerability.
Through sincere conversation and a lending ear, a connection blossomed. His eyes, once clouded with sadness, now sparkled with newfound hope. I realised that by embodying kindness, I had made a difference in this person’s life and my own.
The ripple effect of that single act of kindness became apparent. As he, too, began to extend kindness to others, a chain reaction of positivity unfurled. What began as a small gesture had the power to create a domino effect, touching countless lives.
Embracing the Golden Rule isn’t just a moral principle; it’s a virtuous cycle; you give and you get. Did you get yours?
and more importantly, did you give yours yet?
“…how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”
(Acts 10:38 KJV)
