Official Statement on Strategic Leadership Congress  – July 19, 2025

On Saturday, July 19, 2025, leaders from across all expressions of Daystar Christian Centre gathered in person and online for a defining moment at this year’s second Strategic Leadership Congress (SLC). Themed “Doing Ministry Differently,” the gathering was a refreshing reminder of why we lead, because we love God and we love people.

Led by our Senior Pastors, we were charged to embrace the second half of 2025 with bold faith, unwavering love, and restful alignment to God’s Kingdom. Ministry, we were reminded, is not merely about what we receive, but about what we give, our time, our hearts, and our service. The days ahead will demand that we shift from self-preservation to selfless giving, and from survival-driven action to Spirit-led alignment.

The call is clear: we must stay focused on Kingdom priorities. In a world full of noise, uncertainty, and pressure, our anchor remains the pursuit of God’s Kingdom above all else. As we step boldly into the next season, we are invited to believe for the impossible to become possible. The covenant of possibilities is already in motion, nothing is impossible with God.

Possibilities In Relationships | Daystar Christian Centre | Pastor Nike AdeyemiOur Senior Pastors emphasised that leadership must always flow from the heart. We were urged to walk in humility, to serve with compassion, and to lead with love. As we continue to build and strengthen our teams, departments, and church expressions, we are reminded that excellence begins with people. Systems don’t run themselves, people do. And Daystar is what it is because of dedicated leaders who continue to show up with commitment and grace.

The second half of 2025 comes with focused ministry priorities that will shape our growth and impact: a renewed evangelism drive, a strong discipleship pipeline, community outreach projects, reactivation of viewing centres, and the recruitment and development of new leaders. Together, these initiatives will enable us to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and remain true to our mission of raising role models.

Importantly, we were reminded that ministry must be done from a place of rest. Burnout, guilt, and fear have no place in our leadership journey. We are called to breathe, delegate, and realign with the peace that comes from knowing we are in God’s will.

As we press forward, our declaration is firm: “This second half, we will do ministry with possibilities.” We will lead with courage, grow with clarity, and serve with renewed joy, because we are not alone. God is with us, and together, we are building a church that reflects His heart to the world.

Thank you for showing up, for standing strong, and for giving your best. The journey continues, and the best is yet to come.
