Staying Connected to Your Community

Staying Connected to Your Community. As anointed as Jesus was, He partnered with people on Earth to fulfil his ministry. When Jesus sent His disciples out to preach the word, He sent them out in pairs to understand that they could not fulfill the ministry alone.

God does not run an orphanage, He runs a family, He places the lonely in families. As a member of the church, you need to understand that you are part of the body of Christ. The reason why you are in church is for you to be in touch with other people. No matter how rich or comfortable you are, you should not be alone.

You need two critical relationships for the fulfilment of your destiny; Strategic relationship and Spiritual relationship. (Psalm 115:16 PT), If you want to survive and fulfil your dreams and your ministry, you must connect to other people. Your connection determines your collection.

Benefits of staying connected to God’s family

  • Strength and support to overcome stress and difficult situations:

Two are better than one, because they have a good [more satisfying] reward for their labor; for if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 AMPC)

No matter how anointed you are, if you are not connected to other believers, you will become frustrated. (Numbers 11)

  • When you stay connected to the family of God, it will help you to have a lifestyle of sanctification that will preserve you from corruption.

Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.” (1 Corinthians 15:33 NLT)
