Stratospheric Influence: Rising Beyond Limits to Shape Culture

Pastor Ayo Bankole delivered an inspiring message titled “Stratospheric Influence,” reminding believers that knowing who they are in Christ determines how far they can go and how much impact they can make in the world.

Drawing from John 14:6–7, he explained that Jesus didn’t just bring salvation , He gave us a template for dominion: “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Every believer, Pastor Ayo said, is not called to merely survive but to rise, shine, and take their place as an influencer at the “gates”, the places where ideas are shaped, values are built, and destinies are decided.

He described the “gate” as the seat of power and decision-making , where kings are made, cultures are formed, and nations prosper. True influence begins when Christians recognize that God has strategically positioned them to represent His kingdom in every sphere of life, business, politics, education, and media.

Challenging the congregation, Pastor Ayo said, “If you are not an option, you cannot be a choice.” He urged believers to step beyond self-preservation and personal comfort, positioning themselves where their light can truly shine.

Using examples from Joshua, Esther, and Paul, he showed how obedience, preparation, and courage empower believers to take charge of their divine gates and influence their world for God.

In conclusion, Pastor Ayo emphasized that shaping culture starts with renewed thinking: “If the church will truly shape culture, we must rise from being influenced to becoming influencers.”

We are not just called to exist , we are called to lead, create, and inspire change. Watch the full message here,
