Wake up! Collect your package! I know a pretty little girl. Let’s call her Baby T. Everyone loves to play with Baby T. However, getting her attention is always a hassle. I’d watch in fascination how adults would try to give her toys to get her attention.
It gets even more interesting when she collects the toy. Every attempt to get it back from her meets strong resistance.
Quite typical of children, isn’t it? However, I’m beginning to wonder how much similar a lot of us are to these children. One of the hardest things for us humans to do is to LET GO. The very thing God wants us to do to access our next level.
Best believe that what God has for you is way better than whatever He’s asking you to let go of. Beyond vices (smoking, lying, stealing, you know, the ‘big sins’ hehe), sometimes, we need to let go of the good too (a job, a relationship, your rights, etc.) for His best.
It’s very similar to what Jesus is saying here
Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds (John 12 v 24 NIV)
First there’s death, aka surrender, then there’s RESURRECTION!
Not just for Jesus, but also for us!
