Nigeria was created in 1914, and we were not happy with what was created because it was not created by Nigerians so it was recreated by Nigerians in 1960. Now, 63 years later, we are still not happy with what was created. It is time to create a new Nigeria. We must never forget that we are creators, the first introduction we have to God in Genesis is creativity.
So God created human beings[ in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26)
If we were created in the image of God and God is the ultimate creator, then we also are creators. (Hebrews 11:3 MSG). The raw materials that we use to create material things are intangible raw materials; thoughts, ideas, visions, and mental pictures. There is nothing of value that has been created by people that didn’t exist first as an idea, all things are created twice. What did Jesus use to create healings and miracles? it was “God said”. (John 5:19)
Revelation is the basic raw material with which we create things in this world. When we understand this principle we can’t call ourselves poor because the worlds definition of poor is lacking material things. It is the intangible things that we use to create material things, it is only when a person lacks the intangible materials that you can call them poor. We are not poor, we are wealthy and highly resourced.
(Romans 12:2 NLT).When God speaks to you and gives you revelation, you displace everything else that is in your mind and allow the revelation to dominate your thinking and your imagination. When Abraham complained to God that he didn’t have a son, God recreated him by giving him a new picture.
To change Nigeria, we need to change our collective thinking, values and behaviour and with that we will create a new culture,How do you change culture? You change culture by changing behaviour and to change behaviour you need to shift peoples values. To change the way people behave, you need to change their belief about how to prosper.
Ask yourself ; am I a co-creator with God?
