We love it ‘fresh and healthy.’ We always come alive in a Farmer’s market, the fresh vegetables, and succulent fruits with all the vibrant colors bursting with light.
That’s how a home should be. Everything fresh and healthy, joy and laughter everywhere. But you know, it takes some work to get your home like that.
Pastor Sam did a solid teaching last Sunday on how we can experience the fullness and joy of marriage only with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. He highlighted the stark contrast between the world’s perspective on marriage and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. In a world filled with conflicting ideologies and shifting values, it is crucial for us as believers to anchor our marriages in the unchanging truth of God’s Word.
The Scriptures remind us in Romans 12:2, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” This verse challenges us to reject the world’s opinions and embrace the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit as we navigate the complexities of marriage.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to cultivate love, patience, kindness, and selflessness. Galatians 5:22-23 reminds us, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things, there is no law.”
