You’re definitely crazy! Angus had just moved to a new city and was trying to adjust to his new environment. His marriage was threatened and he was in a financial mess.
There was a drought in the land, yet God had instructed him to plant potatoes.
Everyone concluded he was crazy. No, they didn’t even ask, they concluded he had to be crazy!!
You may have called Angus crazy too!
But he who looks carefully into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and faithfully abides by it, not having become a [careless] listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he will be blessed and favoured by God in what he does [in his life of obedience].
~ (James 1: 25 AMP)
But Angus kept planting as passersby hurled insults at him. He was, however, doing some deep thinking as he planted. Here he was, acting based on revelation, and he wasn’t about to be deterred by voices around him.
So he did his best to block out the noise while focusing on the divine instruction he had gotten.
‘No, Lord, not potatoes!’ Potatoes need a lot of water to grow and there was no rain and yes, the idea was crazy.
However, Angus acted on revelation and he got results. At harvest, the potatoes had grown so big. What a bountiful harvest, and yes, he was no longer crazy. Just ‘crazy fruitful’.
Talk about ‘Miracle no dey tire Jesus!’
Indeed, God never gets tired of performing miracles.
Perhaps we need a constant reminder about this, so we can confidently act on revelation just like Angus. Which is why our Pastors have been reminding us to get Revelation.
As we wrap up the series — Financial Increase, get revelation (the ultimate capital) but don’t stop at that. Act on it, even when it is crazy.
And what better way to end the series than have our senior pastor – Sam Adeyemi join us today to release fatherly blessings and share communion?
