Let your light so shine before men. God has given us His name, we are made in His image, We are light, because He is light.
People have confused who they are for the situation that they are going through.
You are not what you are going through.
Receive your gift and run with it. Whatever your gift may be, run your own journey. Hardships are only for a season, but that doesn’t change who God is.
Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors, and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ.
~ Ephesians 4:11
We are in times when the darkness is being multiplied in all forms and fashions, but our job is not to blame the darkness. Many of us have fallen into the trap of blaming the darkness. Don’t curse the darkness, light the candle.
When we ask, “Why me?” “Is it only me?” Why not you? It is because of what you carry that the enemy is after you, he is after the light you have, so he can put it out.
Don’t open your mouth to partner with the enemy. When you complain you are partnering with the demons. Their atmosphere is to say and put out bad things, but when you join them to do that to yourself, it’s like you’re aligning with their camp.
Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer”
How does tribulation and happiness go together?
Yes, we are in this world, but we are not of this world. We need to be conscious of our spiritual DNA. You have to know who you are and not be confused by what you see.
We are pilgrims passing through this world, but how are you going to shine between the day you are born and the day you are called home?
Sometimes when God calls you to shine, it might not be in the place that you are born. You can’t insist that you have to be in a particular place.
God scatters us into various places, industries, nations and cities for a purpose, find out yours and do it.
