Blossoming Through the Covenant 2. Two weeks ago there was a total eclipse of the sun, there were some cities that experienced it totally and were in total darkness and there was mild confusion because of the drastic change in the atmosphere. The earth and all the other elements of the galaxy point to the amazing power of God. God has said that the day that night stops following day is the day that His promises will end in our life and that day has not come yet.
Our only duty in our covenant with God is to love him back. (Isaiah 41:8NLT). In Matthew 22 Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment is
Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’38 This is the first and greatest commandment. (Matthew 22:37-40NLT)
Obedience is the proof of our love for God (John 14:15NLT). Abraham obeyed God even to the point of giving his child that he had waited years for. The way you know people who love God is by how they obey God. We as believers cannot remove God from the equation, there is nothing we need to do anymore than what Jesus did on the cross.
…but I will do what the Father requires of me, so that the world will know that I love the Father. (John 14:31NLT)

We need to be the kinds of God lover that are willing to hard things because God said so.
