Why should you be like sister M?
It’s the most wonderful day of the week, right? Ok, maybe you have a different day as your favourite but at Daystar, Sundays are so special because the doors are open at all our Lagos locations, and you can worship with us on-site and online.
This month, we have been exploring the topic of faith, and every sermon has been a back-to-back hit. First, Pastor Nike asked us what we see (Watch here) . Then Pastor Boye said that there is always something we can do as an act of faith about that which we see in the spirit (Watch here) even if (for example) we don’t have the money for it yet. I mean, you can start to pray.
Then Pastor Segun Dada took it s step further on Wednesday by asking us to make a tangible move on that (Link).
Now let’s tie it together with Sister M.
1.God tells Sister M that she will carry her baby in the New year, at the Crossover service.
2.Sister M gets her scripture and starts to pray.
3.Then she gives that baby a name, starts buying baby things gradually and even sets up Baby M’s room!
That’s Sister M’s faith in action, literally.
Soon, family and friends gather to celebrate Baby M’s naming, with rice and chicken.
Beloved, let’s be like Sister M!
Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen – Hebrews 11 verse 1 TPT
Then let faiths creative action bring it.
See you in church tomorrow, online or on-site, and hey, Unbound is finally next week! Register and tell someone.
