Healing For The Broken Heart.

Healing For The Broken Heart. When we talk about good health, we’re referring to the general well-being of man, the well-being of the body, soul and spirit.

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may succeed and prosper and be in good health [physically], just as [I know] your soul prospers [spiritually]. (3 John 2 AMP)

From the word of God, we discover that the foundation for good health of our bodies includes a proper diet, good hygiene, rest and exercise. No matter the level of your faith, if you don’t follow these four things, your health may be tampered with. (Exodus 23:25-26)

In Exodus 15:26, God told the Israelites that He was their physician, but to do His job, they needed to obey Him. In the New Testament, however, the foundation for us to enjoy health, is in the finished work of Christ. By His wounds, we are healed. We live in an imperfect world, it is natural for us as humans to be prone to worry and anxiety, but for us to enjoy sound health as believers, we need to trust God.

David said in Psalm 37:25.

Once I was young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned or their children begging for bread.

The reason why it seems like we are going through our problems alone is because we don’t trust God enough. As a believer, the moment your anxiety goes up, it is proof that your faith is going down.

God doesn’t have to tell us the details of how He is going to bless us, our job is just to believe in Him. We need to anchor our issues in God and put our faith fully in Him. (Psalm 28:7NLT)
