The ultimate capital for creating financial increase is revelation.
Turning seeds into harvest is God’s principle for increase, and it is through this principle that we gain dominion
When you understand this, then you are set up for a life of fruitfulness.
You cannot be fruitful without having seeds. God cannot command you to do what He has not equipped you to do.
For God to command us to be fruitful, He knows that we have seeds in us.
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it…
~ (Genesis 1:28)
Several years ago, our Senior Pastor taught entrepreneurship every Sunday during the first service. We called it ‘Entrepreneurial class.’
During this class, people complained that they couldn’t do anything because they didn’t have the capital to start.
So, our Senior Pastor gave them the following responses:
-
Money wasn’t mentioned in Genesis 1 when God created the world:
If God created the world without money, then He had something more powerful than money.
God didn’t have money, but He wasn’t poor.
You cannot allow money that was created by man to hold God to ransom in your life.
You must not allow systems built by man to classify you as poor. Redefine your identity according to what God calls you.
-
The capital that God used to create the world is revelation:
By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.
~ Hebrews 11:3
God empowered Adam and Eve to be fruitful after He had created the seeds. If God brings you a vision bigger than you, He has equipped you for it.
The first sets of seeds were created by what God said, and that is the power of revelation.
There are things that God has put around you as springboards for financial miracles, but because you can’t recognize them for what they are, you can’t take the right steps to achieve them.
Revelation guarantees consistent growth and progress. When you receive a constant flow of revelation, whatever the direction of the economy is, it wont bother you. Revelation breaks limitations and cures stagnation. (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
When God sends you to places that are hard to get into, you will enter by revelation, and things will shift into place for you. God uses revelation to transfer value to us.
Four things to do to prioritize revelation
- Ask God for wisdom. There are so many things that we can’t figure out on our own. (Jeremiah 33:3)
- Meditate on God’s promises and instances of provision in the bible. Yield your imagination to the Holy Spirit. (Psalm 1:2-3)
- Read, watch, and listen to messages by inspired people. Get advice from those who have successfully done what you’re trying to do.
- Act on the revelations God has given you already.
To enjoy resurrection, restoration, and resurgence in your finances, you must priotitise revelation.
