There was once a traveller named Udeme, who explored beautiful sights and encountered fascinating cultures everywhere but still struggled with loneliness despite his exploits. One fateful day, Udemeh stumbled upon the treasure of one of the villages he visited. It was their hidden treasure – the Village Round-table, that bound the community together.
This round-table is situated at the centre of the village, where the villagers gather every third market day to share stories of their exploits. They also shared laughter and brotherhood and found solace and strength in one another.
The village’s round-table symbolized their connection – the unbreakable bond of support for them in life’s trials.
Each villager’s unique talents and perspectives became woven around this treasure, creating a tight-knit community where burdens were lightened, and dreams grew bolder.
Udeme knew he had struck GOLD! He is still in that village till today because, who leaves a good thing behind anyway?
Don’t abandon your own gold too, dispersed all around you – physically and virtually. That’s our own Village Round-table. Let’s embrace the benevolence of the corporate grace available through the home cell fellowship. It’s our treasure that keeps giving.
