Did you attend our much-anticipated Christmas concert? Whoosh! It was awe-inspiring. The COMFORTER came, and it was an atmosphere of pure, unadulterated joy.
Well, I can’t tell you how much you missed if you didn’t attend, but we may have a little something for you. Catch a replay here
Speaking of the atmosphere, we enjoyed at our Christmas concert. I’ve been thinking much lately about what a friend shared with me. Early in the year, he had prayed for breakthroughs, specifically, open doors for international platforms.
Guess what?
He got two opportunities for an all-expense paid trip (work-related). However, he didn’t get a visa on both occasions. In his words ‘I was sad and disoriented the second time I got a rejection, I asked God, why me?
And then the Holy Spirit spoke to me. He said, “Change your perspective.” Thank God because the opportunity you prayed for came, even if you didn’t get to travel.
He then reminded me of the parable of the growing seed (Mark 4 : 26 – 28). It’s first a leaf of the blade, then the heads of wheat are formed and finally, the grain ripens. So he said, thank God because you’ve seen the leaf blade. He’s able to bring the full corn.’
What a perspective!
Pastor Sam always tells us that life is about perspective. It’s that time of the year when people feel low and underachieved. Want to know the game changer? Start seeing things from God’s perspective, it will keep your joy intact.
Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. Colossians 3 : 2 (MSG)
Our focus this month is JOY, and today is a good time to be a part of our service. Join us at 6 pm (WAT) to enjoy a refreshing time in His Presence.
