Doing Good Where You Are And With What You Have. Our world needs us, and God needs us because we are His representatives in this world. We are the voice of God on Earth, so when people encounter us, they should encounter God in us. The gift of God in our lives and the supernatural empowerment that we have is not only for us alone but for us to represent Christ by lifting and being a blessing to others.
In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. (Matthew 5:16 NLT)
The more we repress our God nature, the more we deny our world of the manifestation of God. Do the things you are encouraged by God to do; you don’t know how positively it will affect people’s lives.
Do you have people who can say that because you did good for them, they succeeded?
We all have the opportunity to do good works and be a blessing to others. We all need to represent Christ with our lives and our good works also. Don’t focus on your needs and wants alone, it might be easy to think we have nothing to offer but that is far from true. It is important that we put out the things we have, our grace, our gifts, our values. We need to consciously and intentionally carry the mentality of a victor and a solution provider just like Jesus was.
A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. (1 Corinthians 12:7 NLT)
We’ve all been blessed with gifts, opportunities and resources to be a blessing, so we have to intentionally look for the opportunities to be a blessing.
