Flourishing Forever: Fulfilling Your Purposes

As we flourish forever, we must ensure that we our purpose in God. There is a purpose for everything. God is intentional. He is a God of purpose. The greatest disaster is when the purpose of human beings is not known, it’s a massive waste of potential.

“If all we get out of Christ is a little inspiration for a few short years, we’re a pretty sorry lot. But the truth is that Christ has been raised up, the first in a long legacy of those who are going to leave the cemeteries.”

1 Corinthians 15:19-20 (MSG)

God has a purpose for every one of us that He created and allowed to show up on the earth. No one is an accident of nature. Every part of your body has a purpose that it is fulfilling, including the hair under your armpit.

Purpose is the original intent in the mind of the Creator that makes him create a particular thing.

Do you know your purpose? It’s not enough to set goals for your life. You can achieve your goals and still be a failure in God’s eyes, if your goals do not align with His purpose for your life.

Few important points:

God has a purpose for our lives.

Ephesian 2:10 (NLT). There are many good plan, intentions that God has for you, long before you appeared on the scene. You are not a biological accident, no matter what your circumstances say to you. What you think, what you are going through, or what others think cannot change what God has designed.

You are a marvel. Your personality, your body, your family, your journey in life are uniquely designed for your purpose. You are perfect for God’s purpose for your life. You must celebrate the uniqueness. Jeremiah 1:5 (NLT). Don’t let comparison with what is happening in other people’s lives steal your joy.

Your purpose is not about you, it’s about your creator.

God created you, and He has something in mind for sending you here. Purpose is not decided by what is created, it’s decided by the Creator. Your purpose was created by God in the forever, eternity dimension. You can only find your purpose by revelation, not by speculation. God is the One that will reveal your purpose to you, Matthew 16:13-17 (NLT).

People will define you based on what they have experienced or know about you, and they may miss the mark by a mile. Don’t build your esteem on the recommendation or commendation of others. Your identity must be measured by Christ’s Word, through your relationship with the Holy Spirit.

Your life is too small to be the purpose of your life.

You must turn your focus on serving others. You will experience a miracle flow when you turn your focus on serving others. Matthew 16:25 (MSG). If you want to find yourself, use your gifts and talents to serve other people.

Don’t let the world deceive you by measuring your leadership by acquisition, it must be by contribution. Mark 10:44-45 (MSG). Whatever resources God has committed into your life, you are meant to use it to serve others. Your anointing is meant to serve others. Isaiah 61:1.

Every detail of our lives is woven for God’s purpose. When we get closer to God, He reveals the purpose to us, and we use that purpose to contribute to the lives of others. We must do all that is possible to stay in alignment of God’s purpose for our lives. Romans 8:28-30 (TPT). Your ultimate purpose is to be like Christ.

As you commit to obey God in all circumstances, may you experience resurrection, restoration, and resurgence. Amen!
