Living the resurrected life. Paul says in Philippians 3:10-11 that the first thing he did to live a resurrected life and enjoy the benefits was to die.
What did Jesus do when He resurrected?
When Jesus resurrected, He took back the power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and blessings and gave them to us.
You don’t have to struggle to get them, they are already yours. The resurrected life is not something that we have to try to attain, it’s something that we receive for free.
The resurrection life is a life of transformation. If you say you live the resurrected life, you are saying that you are living a life that is transformed.
God loves us the way that we are, but He also loves us too much to leave us the way we are.
God wants to transform you, living the resurrected life is not living a life to conform, it is living a transformed life.
When you are a child of God, you need to live with the benefit of being a child of God. You don’t need to struggle, you need to understand your place and your rights with God.
When we come to Christ, we don’t bring our old lives with us, we drop it on the cross and a new life will come, and with this newness of life comes with power, riches and wisdom.
Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life.
2 Corinthians 5:14-17 (NLT)
The old you has died and you are a new person in Christ, your life is much more than what you think it is.
For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)
A resurrected life is a life of newness, stop judging yourself based on the past, your past does not define you.
If you live the resurrected life, you live with the consciousness that you are meant to be above and not beneath.
But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)
Ephesians 2:4 (NLT)
