What are the principles of financial increase?
After coming out of Egypt, the Israelites were concerned about their welfare, but Moses told them that God was bringing them into a good land, flowing with milk and honey.
Moses told the Israelites that they would not go hungry, they would always have food on their tables and a roof over their head. In this new phase of their lives, they were going into abundance.
In Nigeria currently, there is inflation and lack of resources, despite this, we believe that God has given us a promise of abundance.
The story of God transforming the nation of Israel started with Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3 AMPC). When God met Abram, He took him through a journey, and used him to create a nation.
When it comes to making money and financial increase, there is a spiritual side to it as much as there is a physical one.
In any decision you want to make in your business or career, ask God, and let Him be the one to lead you.
God is saying to you that He will bless you with an abundant increase of favour. In this season, He will bring you into our own place of wealth, this is your season of rewards. (Genesis 13:1-2)
What are the principles of financial Increase?
- The God kind of financial increase is rooted in the blessings of God
People do all kinds of things to make money. They swindle, lie, steal, and do all kinds of acts that are contrary to the values of God’s kingdom. That is not the kind of financial increase that is for us as children of God.
- The God kind of financial increase is rooted in faithfulness
Many Christians desire financial increase, but the little God has given them over time, they can’t account for it. They don’t value the resources that God has channeled in their direction.
Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much. So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
(Luke 16:10 )
- The God kind of financial increase is rooted in diligence
This means perseverance and determination to perform a task. If you are looking for financial increase, you have to be willing to work hard for it.
All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
(Proverbs 14:23)
- The God kind of financial increase thrives on generosity:
If you are trusting God for financial increase, you cannot afford to be stingy. Don’t focus only on what to get, find avenues to be a blessing to others.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.”
(2 Corinthians 9:6-9)
