The Power of Community 3

The Power of Community 3. Pentecost changed the structure of the relationship between man and God and the relationships between people. On the day of Pentecost, it became possible for us to be children of God. God turned us into a family, that was His intention all along; to build a family. We can now all call ourselves brothers and sisters.

God creatively designed the family for the care and development of humans (Malachi 2:15 NLT). God provided the family to be the shelter from the storms of life

God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. (Psalm 68:6 NLT)

God designed for the family to be the place where we experience unconditional love. Unconditional love births self-esteem, it helps us discover our self-worth. When someone can look beyond your weakness and still affirm your value and believe in you even when you doubt yourself, it lays the foundation for joy and peace of mind (1 John 4:7-10 NLT)

As soon as the church was born in Acts chapter 2, you see unconditional and sacrificial love on display.

Friends love through all kinds of weather, and families stick together in all kinds of trouble. (Proverbs 17:17 MSG)

Family is all about love, loving and being loved is our greatest achievement. At Daystar Christian Centre, we strive to be that family that loves, we want to excel both as a family and an organization.
