They met a MAN! Can you believe it? We are in the 2nd quarter of the year already. Happy new month!!! God has been good to us, and we are celebrating!

Take a cue from a young widow who lost her only son. Poor woman! All hope was lost and she didn’t see a need to live anymore. Her whole life had just crumbled before her. On their way to bury the child, they met a MAN who stopped them in their tracks.
Oh! He was filled with compassion for the widow.
‘Get up’. He commanded the dead boy.
Whoosh!, can you imagine what happened afterward?
Of course, the dead boy came back to life and there was jubilation. Oh! How I love how this translation renders the passage.
They all realized they were in a place of holy mystery, that God was at work among them. They were quietly worshipful—and then NOISILY GRATEFUL, calling out among themselves, “God is back, looking to the needs of his people!” The news of Jesus spread all through the country.’ Luke 7 : 16 – 17 (MSG)
