Never Work Alone. When the going gets tough? The tough go to their community, we are not designed to walk in isolation, we are designed for collaboration, and the holy spirit wants us to leverage the community.
You need to plant yourself into a community, you must take advantage of the community God has placed around you for your benefit, so you can become who He has created you to be. Through the scriptures from Genesis, God has been showing us that it is not good to be alone, regardless of how powerful and strong you are. A weak man in a community is stronger than the strongest man without a community. If you watch Discovery Channel, you’d see that a pack of hyenas can successfully attack a lion or a lioness when they aren’t in their pride, it is this same reasoning that applies when you are far from your community.
From the beginning of the creation story, God didn’t work alone. The Holy Spirit was present, so you shouldn’t work alone if God the almighty doesn’t. Always walk or work with others!
You mustn’t journey alone in life. You should leverage the support and partnership of others to be able to fulfil God’s plan for your life.
Now the Lord God said, “It is not good (beneficial) for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper [one who balances him—a counterpart who is] [a]suitable and complementary for him.”- (Genesis 2:18 AMP)
In the journey to join a community, please join the right community. Find out the purpose/vision of that community before becoming a part of them because not every invitation to join a group is an invitation to add value to glorify God. Read Proverbs 1:10-16 (NIV) to know how to identify a wrong community.
3 Reasons Why You Should Join a Daystar Community
- Spiritual growth and development – Acts 2:42(NLT) you can only grow spiritually if you’re connected relationally.
- Leadership development – Acts 20:30-32, Galatians 4:1 (NLT). When you don’t grow, then you can’t receive your inheritance. The inheritance is leadership. The destiny of every Christian is leadership.
- We have a sense of belonging; a group with shared values and goals. You can join a community that is interested in your failure and success.
- In Daystar, we believe in baptism by immersion in water and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
