Daystar, you are light that shines in a dark place.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts
~ 2 Peter 1:19 (KJV)
The word Daystar was taken from the book of 2 Peter 1:19. It says you will do well as a light that shines in a dark place.
Who is Daystar? It’s you and I, the church is not a building. The building provides a space for us to gather.
We are light. Light needs no introduction. It’s time to come out of hidden, if you’re still hiding. Show up!
You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
~ Matthew 5:14
One thing about light is that you cannot curb it or put it out like that. Dear role models, don’t dim your light but let it shine bright.
Twenty-seven years ago, we were just a tiny seed. The vision is growing. Overflow in church, thousands of lives touched. We didn’t do it alone, we did it by the grace of God.
The vision of Daystar has gone from glory to glory and strength to strength. We congratulate every member of Daystar, as we celebrate our 27th Anniversary.
We thank God for the vision, Pastor Sam Adeyemi and the leaders who have supported the vision into reality. Daystar continues to grow.
When you know what God wants you to walk in par time, through the measure of light and understanding, you take it and run with it. Then God begins to enlarge you.
God is not a secret to be kept. Our assignments are different. God usually doesn’t just put the whole thing on us at once.
We have to grow with revelation, that’s how God gives us more territory when we are faithful with the present instruction or idea.
