We have a category of Christians who no longer believe in the word of God, because they can’t see the fulfilment of past words in their life.
Are you in this group of Christians? The group of Christians that might have forgotten how powerful God’s words are.
This sermon reminds you to stay on God’s word and pay attention. It is essential to pay attention to the word of God, because God never does anything without His words.
At the beginning of creation, we see God speaking things into existence. “Let there be Light,” and the light appeared. He made the world with His words in 6 days, and all he made was good.
It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.~ Isaiah 55:11
God cannot lie, God will not lie, and God has never lied. Has God spoken a word over you, and it is not manifesting?
Few tips to profiting from the word of God
- Celebration: When we celebrate the word of God, it appreciates! Jeremiah actually complained to God, because he was going through some troubling times. Even in his situation, he was sure of the assurance that comes with God’s word. Jeremiah 15:16 (NLT)
- Attention: What we give our attention to grows. Even though, we find it very easy to be distracted. 1 Peter 1:19 9 (NLT)
- Revelation: This is the in-depth understanding beyond an idea of the context, but experience of the word. This means the word becomes your reality both in the present and future.
- Rest: Have some sleep. You don’t need to work 24 hours daily to make it. God is the one that will bless the work of your hands. Rest on God’s word and you will see the manifestation of God’s promises. Mark 4: 26-29 (NLT)
- Evaluation: Track your progress, how do you know you are on track if you are not keeping track.
